May 2018: Upcoming activities and events at WISE HK!
First up, a 5K Family Challenge together with The Green Race on Saturday 19 May 2018 at 11am! More details here with link and code for registration. It is HK$350 to register for the family (1 or 2 parents + 1 or 2 children) and food is included in the registration! We are looking for marshals and volunteers — if you can help on the day, please let us know!
Then, we are hosting a Try Cricket Taster Session with Cricket Hong Kong on Sunday 3 June 2018 from 1230 – 130pm at Po Kong Village Sports Park near Diamond Hill. Learn how to bat, how to bowl and how to field! To join, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Next up, we are hosting our first panel discussion of 2018, “Why girls should play sports: sports to enhance academic, health and wellbeing in life” on Saturday 9 June 2018 from 1030am – 1230pm. More details here and you can sign up via EventBrite. theDesk Leighton Centre have kindly provided the venue, with catering from MJs Catering. Concurrent to the panel discussion, we are also organising bootcamp / HIIT type activities for kids!
Lastly, in celebration of the 2018 World Cup, we are hosting our own World Cup themed Mothers and Daughters Sports Day on Saturday 16 June 2018 from 9 – 11am at The AIA Vitality Park by the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. We are expecting to have some great coaches and even gifts that are World Cup related! Sign up here.
